Huskers vs. LSU for the national title?

While there are many folks out there in Husker Nation holding some very lofty expectations of the season ahead, it might be difficult to find any prediction more optimistic for Nebraska than the one posted by Peter Schrager of www.foxsports.com.

Preplaying the entire 2007 season on his EA Sports' NCAA 2008 Football game, Schrager's simulation found the Cornhuskers playing in the national championship game against LSU. Although Nebraska came up short in Schrager's cyber BCS title game, that result would certainly make any Big Red fan happy -- if it were to come true in real life.

Interesting...Huskers playing for the title with an untested QB? i'd like to find out what such a simulation predicted for last year's BCS championship game. i'd google it but i'm feeling lazy right now. Go Huskers!

Qb is the least of our worries. Keller has been tested he played for asu remember. I think hes been a bit rusty but will come around. Now lets talk about untested. Three fourths of the Husker defense is untested. All new defensive line, 2 jc transfers in the secondary. Nebraska is still rebuilding, no matter how good we want them to be it will be a few more years untill we see a BCS game. Thats a fun game to play though.
